Leisure activities
Both on the estate and close by there is a wide range of activities to choose from. The 18 hole Royal Bendinat golf course offers much more than a place to play golf, providing a restaurant and bar in the newly refurbished club house, and cultural activities such as the much acclaimed Concerts on the Grass that take place in August (check our calendar of events for dates). There are several tennis courts on the estate, and the new Calvia walkway boulevard offers a cycling and walking paradise. Of course, most water sports are available and the facilities offered by the Puerto Portals marina are only 2km away.
Palma´s Auditorium attracts world class musicians. Home of the acclaimed Balearic Symphony orchestra, there is an annual season of Spanish dance and international opera, as well as visits by top solo artists - Ivo Pogorelich and Paco de Lucia have performed here. The museum dedicated to Joan Miró is a highlight of any visit to Palma, as well as the imposing gothic cathedral and historic old quarter.  |
